Here are some key highlights: The Mets will kick off their season on the road, facing the Houston Astros and Miami Marlins from March 27 to April 2. Their first home game at Citi Field will be on April 4 against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Division Rivalries at Home
The Mets will host their first home series against an NL East opponent, the Philadelphia Phillies, from April 21-23. Another division rival, the Washington Nationals, won’t arrive in Queens until June 10 for a three-game series from June 10-12. The Atlanta Braves will visit later that month for a four-game series starting on June 23.
In August, familiar foes return as the Braves return for a three-game series. The Phillies will also be in town for a three-game series starting August 25. The Miami Marlins will make their first appearance at Citi Field for a four-game series beginning on August 29. The Mets will wrap up their 2025 home schedule with a series against the Nationals from September 19-21.
Fourth of July Subway Series
The most passionate New York baseball fans can look forward to spending their 4th of July weekend watching the Subway Series in Queens. The beloved sibling rivalry returns with three-game sets for the 2025 season. The New York Yankees will host the first three games from May 16-18.
